Normally you must be referred by your GP to a Consultant, please remember to tell your GP if you have a particular Specialist in mind. An outpatient appointment can normally be made very quickly. Your Consultant will discuss arrangements should you require admission and he/she would be able to obtain a fixed-price quotation for you if you are paying for your own private hospital treatment.
